Built in 2022, this lovely two-story floor plan is situated in The Woodlands at Cross Creek. We had stayed here many times over the years when it was Old Matt's and never had a problem. Carpeting filthy, no toilet paper, dirty shower with wash cloth wrapped around shower head to stop leak. We were booked for non-smoking room which clearly smelled of smoke.

The rocking chairs outside gave it a down home vibe. The owners were kind and hospitable, as well as accomadating.I also liked the location on Shepherd of the Hills.I enjoyed my stay very much. Heater doesn't put out enough to hear room, and management doesn't care/ won't fix/replace. Don't want to say a lot because I am still staying here.

Any time day or nite we could never reach staff except by phone as front desk was vacant. When we finally did get someone's attention to ask about towels we were told that we would have to cut up the hand towels for washcloths. We had to constantly ask for toilet paper and trash bags.
